I wanted to thank everyone for the lovely messages left in my chat box were so nice to come home and see them. I do need to apologise I’m a very private individual and tried to put a smile and humour on everything that’s happened in the last couple of months, I kept a lot of the details secret.
Surgery went very well and I was lucky that there was two surgeries planned and once they got in and looked at the devastation that their initial fears and worries turned out to unfounded. I have been extremely lucky and thank my lucky stars that the prognosis wasn’t as serious as first thought. I have now several weeks of bed rest and slow recovery in front of me. But the relief is unbelievable and although I have to return to see the specialist in a couple weeks they have stated that I should be back to full health by then and fully recovered.
I would like to leave you all with this thought though I had been tired and lethargic for months and the doctors had put it down to me dislocating my back last year as the symptoms where similar for both problems, Never accept a diagnosis if you feel there wrong. I’ve been incredibly lucky that it’s taken me a year to get sorted and then I was only taken seriously when my symptoms became life threatening in summer.
Thank you to two special people who have kept me sane and amused and nursed me though the lows and the highs this last couple of weeks, without yours insanity I wouldn’t of managed
