I started me new job today only 6 Hours a week But will keep me occupied,and i still have to take it easy for a month or two yet. I wasn't thrilled to be getting out of bed early was Freezing cold. But it’s nicer then going out to work in the early evening, I arrived early not too early as too not look over keen. Unfortunately the lady who hired me wasn't there when I arrived so the other company boss showed me around. The building houses two companies, I shall be working for both. I sat and waited for the other company boss to arrive and felt a bit stupid sat waiting as everyone went past.
Reminded me of them naughty school days when you would walk past the heads office and see some poor pupil sat waiting to punished and berated. Eventually an hour later one of the girls from that company informed us the boss wouldn't be in till mid morning, I'm presuming she'd forgotten she asked me to come in the day before to finalise my duties and rota, tomorrow which is my official start date.
The pavement was sheet black ice as I walked to catch a bus
home. I did a very unflattering impression of a triple salco, before managing to stop myself, whilst flailing and waving my arms like a bird about to take flight. I just managed to stop myself at the pavement edge much to the disgust of the on coming driver in her car. I'm just glad there was no cameras about as it really was a winning you been framed video moment, so an uneventful first day.
