A little Tease

I thought i would post you a little tease of a fiddling. I happened to mention i was bored and unmotivated and a friend then gave me a shopping list of things to draw. Remind me not to say I'm bored again. This is part of a series Templates I'm drawing, I hope she likes them.

This month is the start of my new beginnings, and has new goals aims and dreams. Chitbags and friends have convinced me that I do have skills and talent and wasting my Spatial Design Degree. If no ones willing to invest in me with a job or training and share their knowledge, wisdom and skill then maybe its time to try it alone Where thinking of starting up our own business from home scary thoughts. but after 3 years of trying to find anyone willing to hire me for any job from a receptionist to shop assistant nothings panned out. I feel so sorry for anyone trying to get employment nowadays. When I was younger I was told you need more qualifications so  I went back to study and gained them, I’ve been told over qualified, under qualified, have no experience. You need 2 years basic training for a Cad job that I’ve lost complete faith in myself and confidence. Maybe I should just stick to pushing a mop around I'm qualified to do that.

I'm also setting personal skills to dust of my CAD Skills, learn Photoshop and my a professional drawing tablet which was a great eBay bargain but hasn’t been out the box.

ZiggyFan Sweet Denim Features Beary Loveable Template

Have you seen Sweet Denim  an adorable Tagger sized kit  by Ziggyfan scraps.  I've followed her blog for a long time now mostly quietly but occasional i get a bit rebellious.  it features my Beary Loveable Template. This is an adorable girlie girl scrap kit that my daughter loved the preview of, she has always been into Pink, we kid her that she cant be ours as everyone else in the family is into grunge, emo, rock. How will this taste with Jam & Butter

May bank holiday  Chitbags  took me shopping he's been  taking some flak from our neighbours as we never go out, with myself not working we trimmed everything down last summer. Unlike most family's I am the man of the marriage and he's the blonde women.  It comes, from my up bringing,  anyway I'm digressing  a terrible flaw I have, We went all over, farmers market, Kite festival, seaside, i live right on the coast. Then headed to the city to the supermarket  which is on a big retail park. A lovely day and with having no whining teenagers we took time to look in a few shops. A terrible idea, as I stated before I'm the controlled one I have to tell him off and give him spending money send him for coffee and he would come home broke with shopping but minus the coffee. 

we'll we looked in a couple of shops having fun window shopping when  we spied a very good deal on a monitor I've been after one for ages, my eyes are deteriorating and hurting with my 17". But normally i just look and dream, not this time, total loss of control. Even played the well it was my birthday last month. Now this is when he's meant to jump in and stop me from being girlie and gushing like I just have to have that new pair of shoes. But he didn't, it wasn't expensive and was on sale because it was bank holiday. Still although it was a bargain i had terrible  pangs of guilt and he wouldn't let me put it back on the shelf. so now for the next month we shall be wondering how this will taste   smothered in butter and jam as we shall be eating it all month.

Declaration of Old & Happy Sweet Sixteen

Beginning of the Month i celebrated my Birthday Day with a trip to my doctors YES really, only time she could fit me in to receive my results from the umpteen checks and rechecks of blood work. I really was beginning to looks like a voodoo doll with all the pin prick marks i had. Thankfully they were not Disastrous although not good.  We called to in to see Gobby and pick up my card she had got me, which turned into picking up the pieces of  her losing her job. Poor Chitbags dreams of a quiet day at home had been left in tatters on the floor.

My neighbours at the bottom of the street through a BBQ for me, and it was a very pleasant day.  Most of the month had been spent doing tests and treatment trips to the dentist. Everyone's idea of nightmares. The month has flown past. 

I should explain that I have had a pc for to many years and probably longer than some of you have had birthdays. Never  do i call any of my family by there real names. Very old school but that's just one of my weirdness, I've never told on-line friends my real name till Facebook made me. So you will often hear me refer to my husband Chitbags, a friend gave him that lovely name and it stuck. Our girls  pet names Gobby 20, Blubbalot 17 & Winalot 16

There is a moment in everyone life when we say " I'm Old " and pray someone jumps in to flatter our ego's and say " your not old " This month was that moment for myself, the realization sunk in as my Youngest child turned Sweet Sixteen. Where has all the years gone, they didn't seem to pass that quick when my eldest daughter was at Secondary School, But it hardly seems two minutes since Winalot started school and now she's sixteen and  has days left at school before going on study leave for her exams.

We all joke and say " We can't wait till you grew up " to them when they're younger in jest and suddenly it dawn's on you  they have, and your wishing they was little again.
